I just loved this lily so much that I planted it in our front patch of yard (we live in a townhouse!) and every May it pops up...I get so excited when the lilies start to bloom! I took these pics yesterday of Lily's lilies, as they are so affectionately called :)
I feel like she is so close by when her lilies bloom...just not close enough...Thank you for the beautiful flowers, my love...

We planted a "Lilly Pad" (in memory of our Lilly) in our front yard with Easter Lilies, Pink Parfait Asiatic Lilies, and Orange Day Lilies. In the fall we're going to add some sort of yellow lily (my favorite color). They are growing, but have yet to bloom. Hmmm...maybe because it snowed yesterday? Isn't it supposed to be Spring?!

Wow, those lilies are so special. That's so neat that she got her name from those flowers, and now they will continue to whisper her name each year when they bloom.
