I wrote a whole post on Friday about some things stirring in my spirit lately but God gave me some answers today. He always does that...answering right on time. If I allow my human heart to speak than I would say that He started answering my question almost 3 years too late BUT things will never work out on our timetable! I feel peace with my stirrings so my human heart is being quieted so that it can hear what God wants me to. With that being said, I've decided to take a break from Facebook because I feel it's taking up too much of my free time. I try to only get on when Cooper is in bed whether that's a nap or at night (he always wakes up before me!) but I know I could be doing more productive things with my time. I have a lot of blogging friends on facebook but don't fret, I'm not leaving blogging world! I feel like I get more out of my blogs than I do facebook, really! To be honest, I feel like Facebook has made us into a world full of acquaintances! People that SHOULD HAVE called me on my birthday only wrote on my wall...I have a problem with that, actually! And, I've found some recent disappointment in people when you try to be more intimate (nothing taboo!) with them. Anyways, I don't want to digress into all that mess! Again, I'll be around here but wanted to let my facebook friends know why I'm no longer commenting on everything that you post about :) So, Cooper is in his crib and in the process of falling asleep so I'm going to go be productive now :) Jen, Lily and Cooper's mommy!

I am so inspired by you. I didn't know if you knew that or not. The way that you talk about making time for our Lord and how you are such a great mom...you are truely an inspiration. I completely agree with "saying goodbye" to facebook for a while. It is disappointing that many people feel that just a Happy Birthday or Congratulations on a FB wall is acceptable. Ya know, NO ONE called when I had Scarlett but, my FB wall was full. Crazy, huh! Sad Really. I miss talking to my friend, give me a call! btw..the Lilies are blooming here, makes me think of your sweet baby every time I see them :)

I am taking a break too. People that should have called me or stopped by the other day on John's birthday, didn't bother. My mom spent this morning texting me asking if I was mad (because I didn't answer her texts last night. But, I only didn't because I took the kids to the drive in to see Hop and Rango and didn't get home until 12:30am). Mad. No. Disappointed. HUGELY. And I still am, but whatever. I was able to find one of my childhood friends on FB and see her quite often now that I am at home, but I can't say that anymore about the rest. I considered sifting through my friends list and deleting people, but my high school reunion is coming up and I don't want to be the meanie. Right?! LOL.

Me too Jen. I have been limiting my time on FB too. Not for any other reason but I need to really focus on me as much as I can. I actually got caught up in FB world once my regular blogger friends stopped blogging and just kept tabs with each other on FB. I am curious to know what God was whispering to you lol..but that is the nosey part of me. <3 thinking of you

Know how you feel about FB... and am about to take myself off it completely after not really looking at it for a few weeks and not feeling like I'm missing anything. Great to be here with you in blogging xoxo

I understand completely - I love FB & getting to see what everyone is doing, but it can take up so much time before you know it. I don't get on it everyday, and I'm OK with that. I may miss happenings, but there are better things to do with that time. I love Lily's blog so I will look for you here! xoxo

We must be on the same wavelength or something, LOL! I get aggravated when people who should call to say something post on my wall. FB really is turning us into acquaintances; you hit the nail on the head with that one! I’ll miss you on FB but I know how it is so I’ll just catch up with you on our blogs! (((HUGS)))
